AIX Engineer – Contractor

We have an urgent requirement for an experienced AIX Engineer for a role based in Dublin. The ideal candidate will be an experienced contractor, comfortable delivering new systems in a client facing capacity. S/he will have extensive experience on AIX, including producing LLDs and building systems. The successful candidate will also have experience on IBM Storage products  IMB Power Portfolio  -PowerVM & PowerHA. Knowledge on Brocade switch deployment would be very advantageous as would a solid understanding of networking requirements. Prior experience developing systems for high availability environments is a plus.

Candidates must be able to work in Ireland immediately without any form of sponsorship – i.e. a Stamp 4 or EU/UK Passport. The role requires attendance on the client site in Dublin. Our client is looking to have someone on board by Tuesday the 5^th of August ideally.
