Service Delivery Manager – Cloud Services

We have an excellent opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager with Cloud Services experience to join a Global Managed Service provider. The role will focus on the Irish market and report to the Head of Service Delivery Management. The successful candidate will have 4-5 years’ experience in a client facing role as a Service Delivery Manager, ideally looking after medium and large clients. S/he will have a strong technical understanding of Cloud based services, PAAS and an in depth understanding of how cloud licencing works and the financial implications for client of the different cloud models. In the role you will be responsible for the delivery of Managed Services to a group of clients, ensuring that the services provided meet both the client’s expectations and commercial expectations. This role is focused on managing and deepening the relationship between the MSP and each client, ensuring customer expectations are met in terms of quality and cost, while hitting commercial targets for the MSP. As the MSP’s eyes and ears on the assigned customer sites you will be responsible for augmenting service offerings, continuous improvements and responding to customer feedback. The commercial awareness to spot a new opportunity aligned to the MSP’s service offerings would be a distinct advantage.

In terms of experience, you will be very comfortable in a Service Delivery role, operating within, understanding and leveraging OLAs/ SLAs. You will have prior experience of structure service reviews, C-Sat monitoring, metric based reporting, QBRs etc. Strong exposure to ITIL is required, accreditation is very strongly preferred. You will also have a demonstrable track record of Service Delivery Management in a Cloud Services environment. Our client strongly prefers to hire candidates coming from a degree background in Computer Science or a related discipline, in terms of your technical background, you will have very solid understanding of datacentre, infrastructure, networking as well as Cloud Services. We’re looking for people with excellent interpersonal skills, excellent communication and teamworking skills, strong commercial awareness and the desire to grow within an organisation.
