SQL Server DBA – Contract

We’ve an excellent contract opportunity for an experienced SQL Server DBA with 7+ years DBA experience and a strong track record of supporting and customising databases across multiple platforms, as well as migrating from legacy systems like Access and SQL Server 2000/2008.

We’re looking to speak to rounded professionals with very strong ETL experience and deep experience migrating legacy on-premise solutions to cloud platforms such as Azure SQL, Dataverse, or AWS in addition to Enterprise DBA skills. The successful candidate with have very strong knowledge of Safe Source FME and be a FME Certified Professional and be experienced with FME for ETL, data quality, spatial data, and be expert in using FME Flow. Experience on tools like Python, Pandas Power BI/The Power Platform would be a distinct advantage, This role is on a major programme to reengineer and document a legacy system so prior experience in that kind of environments would be a plus as well as full development lifecycle experience from concept and design through to implementation.
